Respect - this is the most important value when it comes to email marketing, which is also known as permission marketing. Respect your subscribers and give them something worth coming back for. That’s why I was delighted to see this video on email marketing tactics at the 60 second marketer. Permission can always be withdrawn, so the best way to keep a subscriber list happy is to meet and then exceed their expectations. This video is a good start, including some concrete examples about how to structure your headings for the emails. I agree with the philosophy behind this strategy: to build trust through quality information rather than relying on games and bait. An even better reason for adopting this strategy is because it will easily separate your marketing efforts from those of spammers.
