There are many people that would like you to believe that internet marketing is really easy, and that you can easily quit your job working just a couple of hours a day. Let’s be honest…It’s actually not like this at all. I really believe that anyone can become successful online, but to do it, you will need to take it seriously.
Unfortunately, most people don’t take internet marketing seriously enough, which is why there is a very high “failure rate” (apparently 95% of new online businesses fail, just like in the offline world). You will need to treat this like a real business. As the saying goes: Treat it like a business, and it will pay you like a business. Treat it like a hobby, and it will cost you like a hobby.
If you want to make $20,000/month or more, you’ll probably need to start outsourcing (depending on what you are doing) and invest in a few tools and services. If you want to do this without ever spending a dime and just write articles all day, use free tools like blogger and squidoo, and try to make money off slapping up AdSense, then you are going to have to work really hard to make any decent money at all.
